The historic stone homestead is set in a magnificent multi-award
winning garden of mature trees, shrubs, and roses with abundant
birdlife, many of which nest in the garden. We have honeyeaters,
finches, wrens, blackbirds, sparrows, magpies, and many others
and our parrots include the king and red-rumped. We are home
to the very rare superb parrot with a large permanent colony.
There are three levels of accommodation;
- our 'premier' suite, accommodating 5/6 in a wing of the main
homestead,
- our 'settlers hut', a three roomed fully self-contained unit
accommodating up to 4 and,
- our cottage, a 3 bedroom home with all amenities viz a full
bathroom, cooking facilities, washing machine etc. Ideal for
families, the cottage accommodates 5 however additional bedding
can be provided.
All levels allow privacy and the ability to choose
the level
of
participation
in
activities, be it a stroll around the gardens, a game of tennis,
a farm tour, or enjoying a good book in a garden nook. We are also
a fully operational farming concern so there is usually something
happening of interest to visitors. Please click on 'accommodation',
'activities' or 'gardens' for more information and photos.
Farm facilities are available to all guests and farm and garden
tours are offered to those staying two or more nights.
